Edited** Selling ‘Gerdy’ my 1986 VW vanagon syncro with pop top conversion. 4×4 with rear locker. Original engine/transmission that runs great but before it can be taken on a long drive needs new tires.Z bed was removed by previous owner and replaced with a platform as shown so you can put down a full queen size mattress. No coolant leaks and doesn’t over heat.

I’ve lost steam with this project. Just finished installing new gowesty fuel tank reseal kit and fuel sending kit. Previous owner did most of the body work it’s in excellent condition for its age all that it needs is a small paint job. Recent engine/trans oil change. Message me with any questions. Last fall I changed fuel filter, fuel pump, lines and drove it a hundred miles to test the rear locker system it functions as it should. Vanagon Syncro is the unicorn of the VW world !!
