I bought LaPerla for the sole purpose of traveling and camping in Mexico. Last winter I traveled/lived in this van for 5 months. I drove 8,000 and she performed flawlessly and did not use any oil. After I bought LaPerla I installed the Go Westy lift kit with 16” rims, Bilstein shocks and Yokohama Geolander tires, changed the timing belt, installed a Fiamma 45 awning that can be employed by one person, new Bluetooth stereo with all new speakers, new bumper end caps and just had the front brakes and rotors replaced. I also replaced the auxiliary battery and it has a 100 watt RENOGY solar suitcase. The dash had no cracks and all in all in great shape for an older van. This van is the Winnebago model with a two burner stove, sink , outside sprayer, furnace for those cold nights and a closet. It comes with all pots and pans, silverware, power inverter, Coleman stove, garden hose, luggable Lou, hammock and everything needed to go on your on adventure. LaPerla has a few very minor dings and scratches but she’s an eye catcher.
