2002 Diesel Mercedes sprinter 154 Wheelbase with raised roof
This is my temple which I built by hand and upon the initial build my intention was to keep it until it had no life left however my family is growing & we are moving abroad so the space is no longer suitable for us. This was previously a fedex work truck so between them and i, it has been taken well care of.
I used natural materials much of what was upcycled as well as organic sheep wool insulation, a memory foam mattress which can lift to look out the back as a couch & hardwood floors. It comes equips with a 400 watt solar system, dimmable lights, a diesel heater, lots of storage space, a raised roof & more.
While the inside is magical and one of a kind, the outer paint job could be redone. There are many patches from the previous owner & I planned to repaint it in time. Some other things I never got around to are installing a passenger seat as I was traveling solo with my pup. However the flooring in that area I left easy to pull up for installation. Because it was a work van there is no built in ac or heating. I’ve always used the diesel heater I installed and for cooling, the fan & usb water air cooler have been sufficient. I intended to install a small ac unit as well which could be added by you.
As seen in photo, there is a dent on the lower area of the drivers side, this was there when I received the van. It is below the floor so has caused no damage to the inside nor did it affect the title.
The tires still have much life & I just did a fresh oil change. Are you ready to make it your home?
