Automatic slide-out living room requires an additional step of inserting/ removing a fuse to turn off the air compressor after it inflates/deflates the seal around the slide-out. Pretty standard issue across these models; not overly onerous or worth fixing.
Recent Service History:
Last service (Feb 2021) included: replaced fuel filter, new battery, new fuel line from generator, and new fuel pump assembly. Oil changed at regular intervals.
My parents bought this Chinook (JUL 2005) with 17,000 miles on it from a dealer. Over the past 16 years and 75k miles, it has been pampered and stored INDOORS when not in use. It is currently being garaged at an indoor storage facility outside of Dayton, OH.
My father recently passed away, which is why we’re selling. As the founder of the Chinook Glacier Owners group, my dad’s maintenance and care was well-documented and shared with the community of Chinook owners across the U.S. While this vehicle is very maneuverable, my mom is looking for something a bit smaller for future adventures.
