This beautifully converted, spacious 2005 Ford Econoline E-350 Extended Cab was once a California dream, but now lives in Minnesota. Low miles (99,840) and zero rust or leaks. With a hard-to-find 10 cylinder motor you’ll be able to confidently climb mountains and see the best of the US (these motors are known for their long life-expectancy of over 200K). This heavy duty motor will also allow you to tow and comes with a receiver and wiring if you’re interested in hauling a boat, trailer, ice-house, bikes, etc. TONS of storage!

For her first 15 years she was fleet maintained in San Diego, California and since our ownership in 2020 has had consistent maintenance and scheduled oil changes (we have the paperwork to prove it). We’ve had zero problems with this van since purchasing. In 2021 we cleaned and cleared all the rear end fluids in the back axle, as well as replacing the transmission fluid and filter. In 2021 we also purchased new tires. The van will come with a spare tire that conveniently lives under the backend. Only con we can think of is that the powerlock does not work on the front passenger door, but would be an easy fix.

We’ve used this camper for music tours and regional camping trips but sadly have to sell due to a growing family and no rearseats to strap them down in 🙂 Clean title and no previous accidents or fender-benders. All DIY updates have been performed by professionals (licensed carpenter/contractor, auto mechanic, etc.). We used the highest quality materials to ensure decades of adventure! This van is ready for its next owner and includes all the incredible updates and accessories listed below so you can explore in comfort. Serious inquiries only; in your message please include your name, where you are located, and why you are interested in a camper van.

THE BUILD
Electric: Renogy 2000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Battery Converter with a built-in USB port and AC Hardwire Port Solar Power Inverter (You can plug-in your computer, blender, phone, etc. directly into the inverter for quick charges and use). The Renogy 500A Battery Monitor comes with a high/low voltage programmable alarm, and allows a voltage range of 10V-120V, up to 500A. Compatible with the 12V Lithium Sealed, Gel-Flooded Battery. Also included is a Renogy DC On-Board Charger with MPPT; this multi-stage, multi-input battery charger can charge the house battery from a starter battery linked to the car alternator (already installed by professional mechanic) or by connecting solar panels directly to the unit if you’re interested in off-grid adventure. Both ways can be charged at the same time to minimize charging time. With up to 99% MPPT tracking efficiency and 94% convert efficiency, the smart charger can fully charge a 1kWh battery within 2 hrs with solar energy. To finish off our electric set-up, we have installed an easy to access, grounded Blue Sea Systems Fuse Block so you can easily add or adjust the system.

Lighting: Create a cozy setting with the LED lighting with dimmer switches. 8 total lights with dimmers located both in the front of the cargo area and the back for ease of use and to create separate ‘spaces’ so one person can read in the front and sleep in the back.

Ventilation: Maxxair 051000K with reverse current function and rain cover. Insulation: Walls, ceiling, and door panels insulated with 3M Thinsulate, providing thermal regulation, a quieter ride by absorbing sound, is light-weight, and is mold, mildew and moisture resistant for safety and longevity. This high-quality insulation will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer for 365-days a year adventure!

Flooring: Installed by a professional contractor and includes a base layer of foam board to help insulate and absorb sound, plywood, and water resistant vinyl flooring.

Sound Control: In addition to the already mentioned insulation and foam board in the flooring, we installed 80 mil KILMAT butyl automotive sound deadener throughout the body to keep the interior as quiet as possible. Windows: Prior to the build, we replaced the far back passenger windows and seals to ensure no water would enter once the walls were complete. Plastidip was used to whiteout back windows for a more uniformed ride.

COMFORT:

Bed: Enjoy the comfort of home while on the road with a luxurious 6” full-size mattress, purchased from Hom Furniture in 2021.

Window Covers: Blackout custom window covers were created for all front and back passenger windows ensuring privacy and comfort. Made out of commercial grade, no-tear reflective foil insulation, these covers have a radiant reflector on one side to keep the sun and heat out, and black fabric on the other side to capture warmth during the cooler mornings. Heavy-duty magnets allow for easy set-up and take-down of the window covers. Also included is a windshield sunshade for ultimate privacy!

We’ll throw in a roof rack for no additional charge so you can carry extra cargo for your bike, music, or camping trips.
