F550 4×4 Ambulance Conversion
I stripped this entire habitat down, re insulated, and totally rewired all of the operations.
All of the exterior doors except the smallest one locks with the key fob. The box is rollover proof at 55mph, with a headroom of almost 6 feet. The top is walkable (and supports 1000 lbs if necessary. )

5kwh of server batteries with an upgrade space designed in. (Eg4)
3kw Inverter charger (eg4)
Victron charge controllers, from 900w of bifacial panels. Up to 1200w on a cool day.
120v outlets at headboard and in closet as well as under sink. System sized to allow addition of 2 more independent outlets. 12v outlets in headboard.

120v fridge (45w running avg) 9k btu mini split (500w running average) coolant/120v 750w isotemp water heater. Water heater is on smart home system. I can run about 4 days without external power in decent sun with it 95 degrees. Indefinitely if outside temps are below 85. If I were willing to live without AC (I'm not) I'd never have to plug in or use a generator. Truck also has backup inverter instead of DC to DC charging. 1500w of charging when activated.

42 gallons of freshwater, 16 of gray. All plumbing except shower drain is contained within the heated envelope, accomplished by Mini Split and a diesel heater. 4 inches of insulation in roof, 3 inches in walls. Water system has a 2 gallon accumulator, so there is no pulsing ever. Laveo dry flush toilet, full shower with self mixing temp (I get about 10 mins run time out of the 4 gallon wh)

Huge storage all around, and under the bed. I fit every tool I used to build this as well as all of my personal items into the compartments for my move across country. There are some small things that need finishing, small paint, trim, finish wiring the scene lights, etc.

The truck is a 2012 F550 4×4 with super singles and onboard air bag system. Better ride than any of my other vehicles. 226k miles, all of the major systems have been replaced within the last 100k, I do have documentation for many of the last 9 years. Truck gets about 11.5 at around 60mph in varied terrain.

I have lived in this since early 2023, and have recently moved into a camper since I'm doing more international travel now. I hate to see it sit around and only be used once a month.
