This is a custom-built DIY camper van named Rex. Rex is a cozy, comfortable, and romantic van that is perfect for a quick getaway from city life or for an epic adventure cross-country!

We put a lot of thought into the design and our main focus was to ensure ease of travel. As two previous van-lifers, we know what works and what didn’t work with our first van, and we incorporated all these ideas into Rex! Not only is Rex beautiful on the inside and outside, but he is easy to drive and his build makes him a very stealthy camper that will be able to park up without any complaints at night.

ABOUT THE VAN
– Current Mileage: 37,600
– Clean title in hand. One owner. Fully paid (no lien).

INTERIOR

Insulation | Entire van, including all doors other than the front driver and passenger doors, are insulated with a combination of ECO-wool, foamular 250 boards, and reflectix (with an added airgap for max. efficiency). This van is cool in the summer and warm in the winter!

Bathroom | Indoor portable toilet and outdoor solar-heated shower behind the van.

Electrical System | 12V, USB, and 110V charging ports on our pure sine wave 3000w inverter. 100W solar panel which charges an AGM battery. There is a secondary backup charge from the vehicle’s battery while driving, so you can charge all your electronics on the go without worrying about losing power.

Bed & Office | Full-sized 5″ memory foam mattress with extremely soft linens and comforter included. Converts into an awesome pull-out table (see photos) so that you can work full-time, comfortably.

Kitchen | Bad weather is not an issue with our outdoor kitchen, as we have installed an awning to protect you from the rain, but if you want to cook inside, simply bring the stove inside. Our sink is run with an electric water pump and we have one 5-gallon freshwater tank, and one 5-gallon grey water tank. Also includes a fridge/freezer, fresh drinking water, a Coleman gas stove, and plates/utensils for 2.

Storage | Above the bed, in the kitchen, and under the bed. There is ample amount of storage for your necessities.

Extras | Dometic fan that blows in and out, backup camera, awning, dimmable lights, fairy lights (as shown in the first photo), and mood lighting.
