With mixed emotions, I am selling beloved camper van because we are simply not using it enough to justify having the second vehicle solely for camping. I plan to simplify my vehicle fleet and build a truck bed camper at some point in the future when funds allow. The van was built for both summer and winter camping which is why it is fully insulated and includes a gas Espar heater. I choose the promaster because of its boxiness and simplicity and the 3.6L FWD pentastar motor is found in millions of crystler/jeep vehicles and parts are readily available. There are many promasters with upwards of 500K miles on the road. It’s ready to jump in and go. There are also opportunities to put your own finishing touches on it with some paint or stain as I have left it very plain. The bed was built originally for sleeping width wise but I recently modified it to sleep lengthwise because I am 6’3” and it was a bit to tight to stretch out. It’s a simple bedframe and can be very easily be switched back to width wise.
The Bad:the front window is cracked and will need to be replaced($498 from safelite. Drivers side Rear Shock absorber need to be replaced but makes sense to do both(about $100 online). Right bank Catalytic converter needs to be replaced(I have the replacement)
The previous sales fell through which is why it is reposted. I to reasonable offers but will not accept any offer without you coming to see it first. I also have pictures from the build process available upon request. If interested shoot me a message to come see it for yourself.
