It’s time. We have decided we’re not going to be doing enough traveling in our Class B Motorhome anymore to justify keeping it. So….it’s time to let it go. If you’ve been looking for an awesome well maintained Class B, with a DRY SHOWER, then you need to read this listing.
We have a 2015 Winnebago ERA 70C/170C with 32,000 miles on it. It’s a Mercedes 2500 Sprinter 170 chassis. Very well maintained and current service is good for about 18,000 more miles. All services were done at Mercedes dealerships.
In addition to all the standard features, I’ve added a roof access ladder on the back, front 2-inch receiver hitch, a full set of six new Alcoa Aluminum wheels, Firestone Transforce RV tires are less than two years old and have only about 2,000 miles on them, the roof air conditioner is a 2021 model Coleman Mach 8 with heat strip. I replaced the cumbersome heavy 2-piece glass shower door with a light weight self-storing door. It’s equipped with the ALDE Hydronic Heat and Hot Water system, a 2.5KW Onan Propane Generator with about 200 hours on it. Both House Batteries were replaced with AGM Deep Cycle Die Hard Group 31 batteries along with a new AGM chassis battery less than two years ago. It’s got all the standard features you’d expect, like microwave, 5.3 cu ft. 3-way refrigerator, 3-burner cooktop, stainless steel kitchen sink, Corian counter tops, leather furniture, side and slide awnings, flat screen TV with Surround sound and sub-woofer, LED lighting and tons of storage cabinets, wardrobe and drawers with more room inside the rear doors and an outside shower. Also has an outside propane connection and I’ve added a couple stabilizer jacks to the passenger side.
Probably the feature that determined why we bought this motorhome, over others, about two years ago was because it has a dry shower. In other words, you don’t have to stand over the toilet to take a shower. Our previous Pleasure-Way B+ had a wet bath and we hated it. The ALDE hot water system provides unlimited hot water (obviously up to the limits of the holding tanks or as long as you’re connected to campground water and drain). This model also has the largest fresh, black and gray water holding tanks of any Class B. It has a slide out that contains a sofa while pulled in or driving or can fold out to a 52 inch wide bed when the slide is out.
The Mercedes 3.0L V-6 diesel does everything well. It gets in the high teens for MPG and can tow up to 5,000 lbs. Everything works as it should.
JD Powers (NADA) says average base retail book value is about $92,850, without counting any options. With options the JD Powers average retail goes up to about $103,800. Since we don’t want to have any long drawn out haggling process with anyone, we will take $84,500 cash. We’re not interested in any kind of trade and we won’t finance it. If you’re serious, please respond to this ad. We’re located in Corpus Christi, TX and can arrange to show it to you with as little as a few hours’ notice.
In any case, thanks for looking and God Bless!
