2017 Ram Promaster 2500
Originally bought as a Roadtrek Simplicity SRT Class B RV (VIN’s to an RV, might help with longer term financing)
had a bunch of modifications done to make it what I wanted. For mountain biking and PNW adventures (Basically most of the “RV” infrastructure was removed (shower, toilet, all tanks and LPG undercarriage)by GRIT Overlander)
39,000 miles
Flatline roof rack with ladder
2 175w Renogy solar panels with 40amp 12v/24v charge controller
2 fantastic roof vent fans
LED push on/off ceiling lights (10 plus one over stove top)
Dometic door style refrigerator-I have a new front cover for it, going to put the one that’s on it now with all the stickers and a frame
Microwave
TV, removable with mounts forward and rear (bed area)
2 burner propane stove (set up to use a 1lb bottle)
Water system for the sink with pump, on/off switch, 5 gal tank
260ah lithium ion battery
2000w inverter
Queen width bed (not as long as a queen) I’m 5’9” and can just sleep side to side
Bed can be in the high or low position easily.
Porch light outside sliding door
Upgraded stereo with BT, Sirrus xm, etc
Driver/passenger swivel seats
Removable table for between front seats
Aluminum custom bench with storage (GRIT overlander made and installed)
Autotern gas furnace (installed by GRIT) with thermostat and piped into gas tank with 1/4 tank safety shutoff
Pull out pantry
3in promaster lift (GRIT installed)
AO Fox 2.0 rear shocks (GRIT)
Bilstein B6 Front Struts for Ram ProMaster (GRIT)
Black matte wheels with BFG KO2 tires (GRIT)
House battery is charged from solar, second dedicated alternator, or shore line
After market magnetic window covers for all windows except sliding door, it has a sliding curtain.
Zip open bug door (I have the rear too, just never installed it)
Magnetic bug netting for rear doors
It’s front wheel drive and does amazing in the snow, especially with the KO2’s. The upgraded suspension with the lift makes the drive more comfortable too.
I have loved this van, made it how I wanted it and have been all over the PNW with it. Started traveling abroad more and just don’t use it enough to justify keeping it. Cheers to its next chapter
