Off grid battery powered Air conditioner. Yes that’s correct, the unicorn for boondocking/backcountry van camping. It’s made by Cruisin’ Comfort. It’s mounted under the bed (the stainless box under the bed in the pictures) and the condenser is under the van. there’s nothing on the roof giving away that it’s a camper van. This is a $4500 upgrade. And it’s worth every cent. Long hot nights in the desert and hot humid nights in the swamps of Florida all made comfortable with this AC.

Rear wheel drive ( we’ve never felt limited by the Rwd. We’ve been all over the country, down some rough dirt roads to trailheads and I’ve never needed 4wd to get anywhere.)
