We are selling our beloved Travato to move into more off-road camping. This amazing van served us well as we traveled around the United States and Canada. Very comfortable, the Travato drives like a large SUV or truck, making driving through towns, cities and highways, as well as parking, stress-free.
Gas mileage is surprisingly good, as long as you don't drive with the pedal to the floor. (13-15 MPG if sensible, 12 MPG if pushing 80 MPH going up the passes.)
It has a ton of amenities, such as SiriusXM radio, TV, Stereo/CD sound system, microwave, AC, an AMAZING, super quiet, heating system, cold water filter, large fridge with good sized freezer, powerful reversible fav with automatic cover, rooftop solar panel, bike rack, aftermarket spare tire mount, 2800 watt generator and a 13' awning.
It has a shower/toilet with sink, a kitchen sink with a two burner stove. The cabinet/drawer/pantry storage space is very generous!
One of the features we enjoyed was how both the driver and passenger chairs swivel to face the table, creating much more usable space.
The bed is just shy of being a Full Sized bed (49' x 77") with a clever spring support base and LED reading lights. It's extremely comfortable, and can fold up to be secured easily out of the way for additional storage space.
The dining table has a swing out extender, and slides down to create a second bed. We have had five people around the table during rainy days with lots of elbow room.
New transmission installed June 2024
We absolutely loved traveling in this Travato, but we are moving on to our next adventures, and sadly, she's not the right fit for super rough terrain.
