FOR SALE: 2018 RAM PROMASTER: Winnebago Travato (mostly debadged) Camper Van 59K “L” with after market 400 ah lithium/3000w inverter&charger/370w solar. Ram Promaster 3500 High Roof Chassis 57,500 miles. Asking $87500. Located in Palm Coast, FL.
The perfect boondocking rig. The electrical system for this Travato has been professionally upgraded by AM Solar in Springfield, OR (2019). With 370W solar (Zamp) on the roof, 3000W Victron Multiplus inverter/charger, and 400ah (2@200ah) of LifeBlue Lithium batteries, you can remain off-grid for extended periods. If you like to camp off grid, or don’t have shore power, no problem, the Air Conditioner and all electrical outlets are powered by the inverter. No need to worry about which outlet is the “inverter outlet” because they all work. This system gives you freedom to set up camp where ever you want without having to plug in or pay campground fees. The rig still has the factory installed 2800 QG Onan generator. The generator can be operated if desired by adjusting the input current limit setting on the Victron Multiplus. Shore power, generator, or inverter – you chose your power source and manage on the Victron Color Control.

All warranty work has been completed as well as Service Manual requirements. This has been a great camper van and has served me well. The only reason I am selling is to purchase a larger RV for family. The electrical system truly allows you to camp anywhere for as long as you would like. Electric kettle, coffee maker, induction cooktop, microwave, hair dryer…you name it, this system allows you to plug in any outlet and use whatever you need! The team at AM Solar did an amazing job with the install (see pictures). No smoking rig.
I added peel and stick wallpaper that can be removed if the design is not your style. The refrigerator and door tower have steel panels installed for travel magnets and color – they can be removed and/or repainted. The tables are original art as are the two drawers on the galley. We changed out the “Winnebago brown” drawers to add van art and install latches that actually stay closed off pavement. I also added a lockable door under the Jenson stereo. This is an open cubby on typical Travatos. I wanted an accessible location to store small valuables while in a campground/meet up/city that provided some security. I added insulation in the rear doors and the slider door. Reflectix is used on other interior windows and I added it in all the upper cabinets for heat/cold protection.
You’ll love this van. Just enough personal touch to make it unique, an electrical system that is a dream build from AM Solar (2019), and a RVIA ensured interior build for safety.
