INTERIOR

Queen sized bed with 5″ memory foam. A fold in the mattress allows it to extend  over the counter tops for sleeping but minimal space taken up the rest of the time (Also makes a very cosy shorter day bed!)

1/2″ Baltic Birch Cabinet doors
1″/1.25″ Aluminum welded framing throughout for bed, under bed cabinets and main cabinets. Light and strong, this also allowed me to build a removable bed platform incase anything large ever need be transported in the van.
Abundance of storage within the main cabinetry, more also in the under bed cabinets. Set at 40″ height to maximize use of space. My wife and I are 5’9″ and 5’10” and this is a great height for food prep. Also allows for gravel/road bikes to sit under the bed in a fork mount without having to drop saddles.
Fits up to 3 bikes comfortably, with some careful placement 4.

INSULATION / FLOOR

Sound deadener installed throughout as per manufacturer directions
EZ cool over thermal bridges and as a base layer insulation, then topped off with Thinsulate 600 all around the entire van and inside any ribs/open areas of frame.
Headliner was dropped down and treated in the same way.  Doors had their panels removed and the same done inside there.
Stock wooden floor was removed, metal van floor then has had troughs filled with minicell, a 1/2″ layer of polyiso, a 1/2″ layer of baltic birch then the waterproof Pro-Core laminate you see in the pictures. Solid and quiet.

Cooper AT3 tires : Good mileage, quiet on the highway but a lot more traction when needed.
Professionally installed plastic wrap on the lower panels : Protection of the paint and also for cosmetic appeal.
Toilet : We use a frame/bag toilet when needed and store it in the rear electrical cabinet area but the main cabinet area could be modified for a larger and more permanent option in the future.
Espar S2 Heater has not been installed ( Heat was a low build priority over summer) but this can be done for an additional $2000
