Van History
This van was purchased by me and my fiance in 2021 with 45,000 miles on it, maintenance services have all been done at the Ford dealership by both the first owner and myself. It just got its full 60,000 mile service here at the Ford dealership in Bellingham. It has been 100% reliable with no issues at all, cosmetically it’s in great condition, some normal wear and tear but it’s been well taken care of.
The build was constructed by me and my fiance over the course of a year. Professionally I am an industrial designer and electrician. I poured every ounce of passion I had into this project and every aspect and detail has been carefully labored over. We started this project as two remote workers during the pandemic and we had a wonderful year traveling and living in the van, but that time has come to a close and a new chapter has started which means it’s time to part with our beloved home.
A short list of material choices include:
Richlite countertops
Garage Coin flooring (super durable and easy to clean)
1.5 inches of floor insulation plus .75 inch Baltic birch subfloor
Killmat for vibrations and noise
3M Thinsulate insulation in the walls, doors, and ceiling
Extruded aluminum framing and Baltic birch for all cabinets
Cedar strips for the ceiling
Marathon Polyolefin Tweed Fabric upholstered panels
This van has everything you need for full time adventuring, working and relaxing in all seasons. Fully loaded we had all our ski gear, mountain bike gear, backpacking gear and everything in between. Living in it was an almost seamless transition from our house just a little bit smaller.
Pictures and text can only show so much, so If you are interested in the full experience you can contact me to schedule a phone call and or an in person tour.
