2020 Ford Transit 250 AWD, 3.5L Ecoboost with a Sportsmobile installed popup penthouse top, custom built by owner and regularly serviced with full service records. We have built our second van and are now ready to sadly say goodbye to this one but keep a lot of memories from it!
This van is custom built and perfect for one person, a couple or even family with two young kids. It has storage for skis, fly rods and other gear. Interior build is full of warm, custom built wood work including reclaimed wood countertops. The penthouse top provides lots of light and air when up, and includes the main bed which can be either down to sleep or stored up on the ceiling. Having the penthouse top makes it possible to safely park this van in a normal size garage (the main reason we purchased this style). The AWD Ecoboost engine powers up mountain inclines and drives beautifully on the highway and on rough forest service, gravel and dirt roads. All weather upgraded tires and wheels make it a great winter adventure van. We have put 50,000 + miles on this vehicle from the desert Southwest to California to Montana and Wyoming in all seasons. The professionally serviced, gasoline powered Espar heater keeps the inside warm even when temps are well below freezing. Full details and specs below.
