2020 Ford Transit 250 campervan. The van itself is the high-roof, long wheelbase model. The van has 107,000 miles and runs great. It has been serviced regularly and has just been in the shop for an oil change and 100,000 mile service. It is 2 wheel drive, has the 3.5 liter V-6, Bluetooth stereo, and a backup camera. There are a couple of cosmetic defects from the vans previous life, primarily a dent on the sliding door and other small body dings. Mechanically the van is very sound. Custom cabinets feature soft close hinges and drawers, locking pulls, and handmade walnut butcherblock countertops. There is a ton of storage (eleven drawers, three of them which are 28″ deep). The floor is waterproof luxury vinyl plank with solid wood trim and the ceiling is stained birch. Two windows were installed in the rear of the van for air flow across the bed. The bed is queen sized memory foam mattress oriented in-line with the van. There is 24” swivel-mounted monitor and WeBoost cell phone signal booster for remote work/ streaming video. The van was insulated with Havelock wool in the walls and ceiling, 1” foam insulation was used in the floor, and Kilmat sound deadening mats were also added to side panels and wheel wells for a quieter ride. There is a set of custom made magnetic Stelletek insulated window covers for all the factory windows (even during the day, it can be made very dark in the van). The front passenger seat is on a swivel mount and there is a pull-out table underneath the refrigerator, creating a dining/working space. Behind the cabinet door underneath the refrigerator is a Thetford Porta Potti. The sink is a 16”x16” stainless steel, undermount unit. The faucet can swivel outside the van and pulled out for an outdoor shower. A tankless water heater located ensures warm showers and hot water for washing dishes. The freshwater tank is 25 gallons and is easily refilled from the back doors of the van. Food prep is easy with the butcherblock countertops and the two burner stove is perfect for using two smaller pots/skillets simultaneously or one large pan (we regularly used out 12” cast iron on the larger burner). The bed sits on a steel frame and allows for a cavernous space underneath. There is room for multiple bikes (two bike mounts included), skis, a large cooler or whatever you to keep safe inside the van. We traveled thousands of miles in the Beast and loved it! We have boondocked for multiple days at a time, from Arkansas to Massachusetts and then to Cancun, Mexico and in slept truck stops, cracker barrels, and urban centers. This van is road tested and very dependable. Below is a list off all the systems and their components.
