Background of this van:
We, a family of 4, recently moved overseas and thus sadly had to decide to sell our beloved camper van, named ‘Goldie’ by our daughters. We designed this van for adventurous trips throughout the US, and focused on simple yet comfortable living while on the road. The Vansmith, professional van designers based in Boulder, has done an amazing job creating our dream van. As owners we are your first contact, and the Vansmith will gladly organise a viewing or answer all your questions.

Goldie’ seats 4 comfortably and safely, and sleeps 4 (even adults). The bed in the van has a memory foam mattress, the pop top bed contains a standard mattress. Our added insulating shades for all windows keep the cold or heat out and blackens out any light. You can access the pop top with a removable telescope ladder.

The kitchen counter has a well sized sink with heated water, and an added faucet with a UV water filter. This is great for when you decide to travel into areas where drinking water might not be safe. The taste is amazing! We decided to use an induction stove, which will be included in the van. The ‘living room’ area seats 4, and the swivel table makes dining a joy.

We traveled for 6 months, and had all kinds of weather: snow and ice cold up to hot summer days. Goldie kept us well protected with the added heater that even heats the pop top, which we highly appreciated when temperature turned freezing. Please know that when you enter real storms, lowering the pop top is recommended. We once had almost vertical rain at night and the pop top wall could not handle it and started to leak. Normal rain conditions are not an issue at all!

The van is not a 4×4, but we added additional suspension so the ride is super smooth – even on dirt roads. Due to our sudden move, the mileage is low.

We decided to not include a wet room, but you can use the backdoor shower (curtain included for privacy) which offers cold and hot water due to our water heater. We also don’t have a toilet, but there is plenty of space in the ‘garage’ under the bed to include one.
