Our journey to this point has been both challenging and transformative. Circumstances led us to prematurely part with this cherished van, a vehicle that symbolizes freedom and exploration. Following my husband’s successful open-heart surgery, and replacement of two valves, our priorities have shifted. Now, we’re seeking a kindred spirit who can fully embrace the exhilaration and escapism that this van offers.

Vehicle History: The original owner purchased this van in 2022 for $249,000 (original “Midwest Freedom Passage Build Sheet” is available upon request). We purchased the Sprinter in April of 2023 with approximately 13,500 miles on it. We now have *17,000 miles from the drive home from North Carolina to Kansas City and a quick trip to Colorado taken late last spring. The Colorado trip was breathtaking and gave us the chance to really see and experience how well this beast performs Off-Grid! I can tell you it is nothing short of Amazing!

Off Grid/Dry Docking: This Sprinter comes with the 2022 Eco-Freedom Solar Package that literally allows you to “dry dock” anywhere while still enjoying your powered devices from the 600 A/Hr. solar charged battery bank and the 320 Watt rooftop PV array! The Colorado trip really impressed us with the Sprinter’s ability to heat and cool the coach completely off grid during our five-day travel period. The nights were very cold outside (20 degrees) but the SBAR type diesel cabin heater had no problem keeping us warm (it works off the Sprinter’s diesel tank and can provide an est. 8 hours of heat from 1 gallon of fuel). Conversely, the Premier 12V AC unit kept the coach comfortable during the warm days (80-85 degrees). Multiple ports and outlets are available throughout the coach to power laptops, phones, along with everything else we brought with us. We averaged 17-19 mpg while traveling outside and away from the mountains.
