Adding a few notes worth mentioning, and I’m putting it at the beginning of the ad, so it won’t get missed: be careful of people saying their van is completely off grid. Just like everything else in life there’s myriad configurations of alternators/inverters/battery capacity/solar capacity/etc. The pictures of my ad give you all these kind of details with the printing overlay. Someone who has 400 amp hours of lithium battery can truthfully say their van is off grid, but that 400 doesn’t compare to the 12,100 amp hours that this van has just as an example. Also the size of an alternator and inverter and solar panels greatly changes how long it takes to recharge those batteries. Also, without four-wheel-drive the places you can access where you can use your off grid ability are limited. This van has four-wheel-drive and the clearance to go most places!
This is “brand new“. Yes, it’s a 2021 but the dealer had it sitting there throughout the Covid years. 2021 was the first year Tiffin produced these and they made some improvements in subsequent years so this van went back to the factory and received those upgrades. Thus it has 6000 miles on it even though it’s still considered“brand new“. Although most Cahaba‘s look similar, you have to be very careful about the extras. This model has ALL the extras. It’s the four-wheel-drive with the roof rack all of the extra lights on the top, the Molly rack on the back , the spare tire (many RVs don’t have a spare tire nowadays!) And what a lot of people don’t realize is the four-wheel-drive upgraded version has additional interior upgrades in the mechanics , meaning it has an heavy duty alternator , a larger inverter etc. As you can see this model retails for close to 200,000 and most dealers are selling them for about 150. I paid 135, drove it home from the dealer and found out. I had a family financial emergency, and it’s been sitting in my driveway ever since. I have never used it. I think the pictures describe what you are getting better than I can. Just know it’s the “all lithium package” which means you can run the heat or the AC 12 hours just on the batteries alone!
