“Well Red” ready for the holiday! She has taken my wife and I on some great adventures for two years, but health reasons mean we need to sell. This Winnebago Solis 59P is a dream. “Solis” because the 200 watt solar panel on the roof powers everything inside. Everything? We have camped 4 seasons over 40 nights and 100 breakfasts or dinners by the beach or in a park or bike trails and NEVER had to plug in. Not once. The solar and the two 100 amp house batteries power the 12v fridge, water pump, heater blower, lights, TV, ceiling fan, my CPAP machine, and as many laptops, phones, or iPads as you wish. There are 17 USB outlets. (Note: 59P does not have a generator or roof AC). We have raised the rear sofa bed 6 inches into a more permanent bed to make room for two folding ebikes beneath. The bed is extremely comfortable. Solis also has a pop up roof with a double bed with 3 large windows and great views.
The RV has plenty of windows all around with screens, also a screen in the rear so you can sleep with the back doors open, and a full screen at the sliding door with a magnetic closure. Solis has a 5 gallon cassette toilet, which allows you to dump waste in your home toilet, or any porta potty, toilet, or dump station. It also has 20 gallon fresh and 20 gallon gray water tanks for sink and shower drain. Speaking of shower, the solis has a hot shower in the wet bath and also has hot shower outlets by the sliding door AND at the rear doors for a nice outside shower (with curtain). The propane heated Truma system heats your hot water as well as the forced hot air outlets throughout the van, including in the bathroom (great for drying clothes). We have camped in 20° weather and been completely comfortable. There is also a two burner propane stove. The 12 V fridge maintains exactly 36° and has a small freezer for ice cubes. The solis 59P is just under 20 feet long and fits in a regular parking space, making it easy to park anywhere and get close to the grave sites. driving it is a breeze. We average 17+ mpg on trips. New Michelin Aegilis tires at 22,000 miles, along with two new 100ah house batteries August 2022. Sumo springs front & rear, and driver side running board added. This beautiful Solis is in like-new condition, except on for a 2-foot long indentation that is imperceptible from most angles (see photo ) This RV is a dream for local trips and trans continental adventures!
