I bought this from the original owner, a retired guy who took a few trips and maintained the campervan like new.

I wanted a campervan that sleeps 4 people – without needing to buy a truck and tow a trailer. This campervan is also great for sleeping 2 in separate areas. Or if solo camping, the pop top is still good to create extra air flow.

I love that this campervan already has everything – no customizations required – solar panel, generator, AC, water heater, refrigerator, water tank, shower, bathroom – so don’t even need to stay in a campground with hookups.

Everything works great but needs a cosmetic repair. Winnebago will pay for.

Pop top has cracks on the top, which happens with the Solis, so Winnebago will replace for free – confirmation already obtained for you, transferable to new owner. I don’t want to wait on the pop top replacement to be shipped – which is on backorder from Europe, but can be shipped to a dealer near your location in the US, for Winnebago to pay to replace. So, if you’re willing to wait on that (no estimate given on when it will be shipped, but others have done this) – and you are willing to coordinate replacement at your local authorized dealer (you can search and find on Winnebago website) – you can save thousands off a great campervan.

Original owner put a dent in the upper rear corner – does not affect the back doors from fully opening.

I have repaired a couple things Winnebago didn’t do well – that may be wrong with other Solis models you’re looking at – water tank bracket so it doesn’t bulge (known issue, fixed). Also, the outside lock to pull out the cassette toilet was stuck, so I used velcro to keep it shut (works great, no hassles, fixed).

The parking prawl had a recall that is not urgent (workaround is use parking brake) – needs to 20 minute service to fix, which can be done at your local RAM dealership.
