Driving the Mercedes Benz 188hp 2500 Sprinter with it’s 3 liter 6 cylinder turbo diesel is fantastic to drive weather off road or long highway miles. With the on demand 4 wheel drive, hi/lo range electroinc stability, traction control and ABS brakes.

Functionality for the driver and passenger/copilot revolves arond the MBUX Touchscreen Multumedia Infotainment Center, with Navigation, Live Traffic, WiFi Hotspot, Intelligent Voice Control, and Rear Camera.

The Mercedes has loads of safety features: adaptive cruse control, power steering, tilt wheel, lane keeping assist, blind spot assist, and rain sensing integrated wet wiper system, and more. The list of conviences goes on, the cockpit seating have arm rests, lumbar support, and headrest, all of which are adjustable.

For ventilation the options are many. The side screen door and back screen have magnetic closures and blackout shades for privacy. The 3 house windows all prop open with screens and privecy shades. Then there’s the ceiling fan in the wet bath and another central power fan with thermost control and automatic rain shield.

Of course if it’s cold outside, you have the hydroic heating system with LED touchscreen for warmth.

The seemingly simple ideas incorporated into this van are great! We take the induction cooktop outside and cook on the fold down table. Why mess around with lingering food smells inside the van. The refrigerator is acessable from the outside of the van for easy loading and grabbing a drink.

There’s also a 5000lb tow package and the two 125 amp hr lithion lon batteries with solar panels on the roof, and a 2000 watt inverter for power.

6/2/23 Update: Servicing for the awning recall was completed today. Also, just a note on the skidplates, we installed them as a just in case item where we didn’t know how we were going to use the Revel. Please know that it’s never climbed a rock.
