2022 Ram Promaster with 159” wheelbase that has had nearly 1,000 hours of labor creating this amazing camper.

This camper is insulated with New Zealand sheep’s wool, which helps to control the humidity and temperature, keeping the living space comfortable and minimizing the risk of mold.

Equipment:
-Renogy electrical system which includes a 100 amp lithium battery, a 50 amp DC-DC charger which keeps the battery charged when the engine is running, a 1,000 amp inverter. The system has Bluetooth modules which connect the system to your phone to help monitor and control the system. There’s room for an additional battery, for a total of 200 amps or 2,600 watts of power.

-20 gallon fresh water tank, two burner propane cooktop, deep sink and natural slate backsplash, shower with travertine floor and a shower head that can extend out the back doors for showering outside, if desired.
-Tankless propane water heater for endless hot water.
-Iceco 63 quart dual zone metal fridge/freezer. This allows you to put meat and fresh produce on one side and frozen food on the other, so go ahead and take that quart of ice cream on the road with you.
-There are no solar panels but the van is prewired for solar with a plug on the outside wall of the van.

The elephant in the room:
-The engineering feat was designing and building a very rare queen sized Murphy bed. This keeps the living area very large and open for a van. In the morning when you get up, making the bed is as easy as a two finger lift, and the bed disappears into the wall. In addition to a large living area when the bed is in the stowed position is that it gives ingress and egress through both the side door and the back door. These are features that you’ll never find in a mass produced camper van.

-The woodwork throughout the van is done with Sapele, which is a dense tropical hardwood native to West, Central, and Eastern Africa. The countertops are made with IPE, one of the hardest woods in the world.
The woodwork in the ceiling was inspired by yacht designs, with embedded LED strip lights with smoked covers. This has the effect of of making the lights “disappearing” into the ceiling when the lights are off.

-Over the Living room/Bedroom is a Dometic skylight which can open for ventilation or close with a blackout screen for sleeping.
I love going to bed and seeing the stars through the skylight as I go to sleep. I also have a fan over the kitchen and shower. With both vents open and the fan on, there’s amazing cross ventilation.

The van has new tires on the front, new brakes, rotors, and calipers on the front. The tires and brake work have about 3,000 miles on them.
