I just took off the wrap and cleaned everything up quite a bit, so it’s back to the original Pueblo Gold paint. The hood and front quarter panels are aftermarket parts that are black, so I re-wrapped them with carbon fiber vinyl.
The van was converted by Sportsmobile (now Field Vans) in Fresno CA, and is a 4X4.
This van has been awesome for us and it’s ready to go on new adventures and create new memories. I love this van, but now that my kids are getting older we’re just outgrowing it.
Road Ready – I had the Bulletproof EGR cooler, oil cooler, EGR valve, and new turbo installed at Performance Diesel in Buellton CA, and have the paperwork. I also had the transmission serviced, along with the front differential, and front brakes and rotors replaced.
Since it’s the E-350 6.0, which is detuned, and not an F-350 6.0, it doesn’t have the head bolt issues, so I decided not to swap the bolts for studs.
Camping ready – the refrigerator, all electrical appliances and systems work well and the water system has no issues. The pop-up is manual, but it’s fairly easy to push up and pull closed. It has one tiny hole in the back, but it does not leak.
