This magnificent van has been my mobile office-on-the-road as a travel photographer for the last 3 years. Since I haven’t been living in it full time, and I only use it for occasional assignments the wear and tear is minimal and everything is more or less exactly as it was when I converted it. Quigley 4×4 conversion plus a 4” lift means it gets me anywhere I need to go, in any conditions. This is a big, burly off-road winter survival MACHINE. I’ve spent weeks in it in the dead of winter for ski assignments and have literally photographed grizzlies from inside the van (there’s a reason the windows are armor-plated). Brand new stereo and backup camera!

It has everything you could ever want for extended stays on the road, including running water (with hot water heater), 300W solar, 300Ah of battery, 2-burner propane stove, fridge, propane heater, and cassette toilet. Front passenger seat swivels, and the privacy curtain can be closed to separate the driving compartment from the living area. Shower head attachment at the back for beautiful nature showers in the wilderness (again, with HOT water!). Tons of storage including above the bed, a full slide out pantry, and overhead cabinets in the kitchen.

135,000 miles, front differential and steering train replaced at 120k, all new brakes, and additional leaf springs added to suspension after the conversion.
