2022 4WD Sprinter………I’ve been building 4WD Sprinter vans since 2016. I build 2 to 4 vans a year and my design has evolved from traveling with my own 2016 Sprinter throughout the western US and Canada exploring the Mountains, beaches and deserts. My vans are built to be self-contained to camp off the beaten track and get away from the generators in the campgrounds but can also be plugged into your cousins house while parked in his driveway for power and water. I’ve created a spacious interior with full kitchen including refrigerator, stove, sink, Laguna swivel table, swivel seats. 3 piece bed platform slides back to become a bench seat for “happy hour” when you have guests. Solar system includes 340 watt solar panels charging two AGM batteries with 300ah which power the pumps, lights, fans and refer. 2500 watt Inverter for charging eBike batteries or running a compressor. 30 gallon fresh water tank, 10 gallon grey water tank, shower off the back of the van. D5E heater mounted under the van that uses the van’s diesel tank and produces hot water for the shower and sink and also interior heat with fan speed controls and thermostats. All cabinets are cherrywood enclosing a cassette toilet. Ceiling is redwood milled from huge wine tanks from the Napa Valley. I built houses for the last 30 years and love building out these “mini houses” on wheels. 5″ memory foam mattress folds back to form the bench seat. 3 operable windows and a MAXX fan provide fresh air.
